How it all started: Following the meaning of our name, we at “Dharohar Institute of folk art" focuses on spreading our folk cultural roots all over the world. Since the last few years our team of authentic folk artists has been working enthusiastically to promote our folk dances online all over the world and collaborate team with today’s tastes and lifestyle along with maintaining its authenticity. Also, our team has been teaching a variety of folk dances to people from different age groups.
On one side Covid Pandemic brought disaster to many people’s lives, on another hand, it indeed destroyed the lives of folk artists too. That is why, to generate a new source of income for the folk artists from all over the country, and to give people an opportunity to utilize their time in this quarantine phase, we introduced live sessions of folk artists, in which our folk artists start from basics and teach unique concepts of different folk dances through live Zoom session. Our artists have also been spreading our culture to foreign students too.
We not only teach dances, but also introduce our students to the meaning of that particular song, and folk tradition of that particular state. It is just a beginning of a beautiful journey, in which we would also like to add more folk artists and provide them a platform to spread their culture and talent.

Artistes Association: We started this journey with authentic and experienced Rajasthani folk artists of Dharohar Folk Dance Sansthan, Udaipur, Gujarati folk, and classical artists associated with Sarjat Nartan Academy, Surat, and few folk artists from Maharashtra.
It is just a beginning of a beautiful journey, in which we would also like to add more folk artists and provide them a platform to spread their culture and talent.
